Pros

Lots of good people, lots of exposure to current technology, hands on servers, switches etc.

Cons

Managers are overworked which means that techs take on some of that load or suffer because of it. antiquated ticket system, lots of driving and lots of sitting in traffic, LOW PAY, low mileage compensation (no adjustments when gas goes up either).

Lot of diversity in work gives experience across several spectrums

Cons

DIfferent Supervisors for different projects who all have different expectations and often put you in the middle while deciding case priority.

Pros

Laptop. Testing tools provided. They pay for your certifications. A decent place to start, stay a year or two and get them to pay for your training, then find a real job.

Cons

Pay is pitifully low for the expected expertise and availability required.
