Pros

Compucom is a great company to work for, lots of opportunities and benefits. The people are respectful.

Cons

This section primarily pertains to the sister-company, Tech-Zone. The environment of this company is so toxic, and the people above have no respect for the guys on the ground floor. They claim to be a "pilot company", but I've never seen a company blame being unsuccessful on being young a year in. They've been playing an expensive game of pin the tail on the donkey ever since opening, and have no regard for the ideas of anyone but the higher ups. If they promise advancement and opportunity there, don't believe them.

Pros

- Soon to be former employee (I'd literally rather be doing anything else, I picked rocks on my parents farm.. this is worse). - The End ...

Cons

- Work/Life balance: emails afterhours (constantly), poor on-call pay, hard to maintain a semblance of a schedule. - Management: middle management heavy, only concerned about executive bonuses, send emails to justify their position, non-transparent, focus changes weekly, constantly restructuring. The environment they create is toxic, we always feel that our jobs are on limbo.. one paycheck after the other. - salary: Low pay with zero raises. Monkey's will only get bananas if Gorilla hasn't taken them already. - Opportunity for advancement: Spoiler Alert: there is none

Pros

In the field we are not micromanaged so much.

Cons

Low pay, dwindling benefits and now the company doesn't even respect the 8 to 5pm work hours by sending you tickets/cases that start at 05:30am in the morning or starting at 9pm! If there ever was a company that deserved a strike it's this one. Raises? Been here over 3 years and I have never heard of one. Guess that's what happens when you work for a right to work company in a right to work state.
