Pros

There is great diversity depending on where you will work, and plenty of learning opportunities under fire. Flexibility is key. This has been the theme, but times they are a changing. Working remotely depends on the job.

Cons

The recently implemented change management system in IT is still being formed and has bogged down the time it takes to get anything done, causing frustration. Benefits are adequate, but there are some caveats. If you smoke and, or have a spouse that is also offered health insurance at his/her job, be ready to pay an additional premium. Pay increases are fleating. Overall rating is based on lower than average pay within the IT industry.

Pros

If you can get a slot on a good team, you can be very happy - get a variety of experiences, potentially travel on various projects. The team must keep the client happy. We provide outsourced services. Depending on the client's treatment of contractor/vendor types in their facilities - work spaces can be from excellent to hand-me-down.

Cons

This is a lean company. Almost all start via a temporary agency and then move to full time. There is very little bench time. If a project ends, if a contract is lost expect to be laid off. If you did a good job, you will be brought back if your skills and work ethic were good.

Pros

-Awesome, transparent, easily approachable management. Really nice folks, even the CEO was really friendly and seemed very down to earth - Solid commission plan - Felt that the company genuinely cared about their employees. Were very understanding when I needed to take medical leave and was supportive of others too (other medical issues, maternity, needing to take extended leave due to a sick family member, etc)

Cons

- Poor account management. Would often bring in job orders that were unfillable/poorly qualified, which would result in a lot of wasted time by the recruiting team - They made some changes in the commission plan during the recession that hurt team morale, but their logic was to avoid layoffs, so I guess
