Pros

Kiss enough backside to higher management and team leaders and you will succeed

Cons

Lets see, there is a rule if you are late from lunch, break, late at desk, or finish work 1 second late four times in one month, you face disciplinary! if your team leaders have a personal dislike for whatever reason, forget about being a brilliant worker, before 2 years is up, you will be dismissed for "attendance and performance" issues, and no, they don't have to elaborate on the reason! Team leaders and all levels of management treat staff as replaceable resources! too much of a bigh count of bullying takes place from other staff who sucks up to management, and unless you are liked by management, you will be isolated! Your personal achievements are overlooked! you are continually prompted to take a call without regard to immediately fix the problem, this is due to fines incurred by the client for call taking percentage failure! fixes are of poor quality since more younger staff are taken on and having to work from a knowledgebase instead of being even knowing the basics of Windows troubleshooting! a high lack of motivation, encouragement and development! at the CC awards ceremony, the team of management and leaders was all drinking pub going out friends, true achievement not recognized! CC gets paid to take on a client...Only for management to get resources drawn from all other PAID CONTRACTS in desk environment to also TAKE INCOMING IT CALLS! if your personality does not fit the pretentious demands for "behaviours" over "performance" you will be dismissed! Experienced staff members would train up the younger staff, then fire them to make way for cheaper, unprofessional labour! one desk I know of in Milton Keynes had 5 "black" staff members fired in space of 9 months due to racially driven staff cuts due to CC loss of a major contract! Most operations managers are emotionless, because firings and dismissals are normal for CC! CC forces all staff to look happy for client visits and the Jekyll Hyde personas of management rears its ugly head...until the client have left the building! opinions are not encouraged, even when they say they are! Why? This is a psychological strategy to sift out the staff who are non-submissive to their work style of oppression! a black woman was not granted a full time position after 6 months of solid incident management performance due to being black in a white dominated department! the flirtier you are, the better your job prospects! so insecure are CC, you cannot express yourself even when you leave them without them threatening action over little ol you. Mike Norris lives in a dream world thinking everything is splendor, happiness and joy fromnstaff, when its the complete opposite! He never visits Milton Keynes or Hatfield, but so long as he can get to a CC location with a plane flight and a nice hotel whilst typing his feel goody goody weekly emails to everyone of the soulcrushed staff members, then he believes all is wonderful, right?! salaries are an insult! operations managers are guilty of jeapody reports being rammed with over 100+ unresolved tickets, then asking the experienced guys to fix them while the fresh young bucks takes the credit!

Pros

Invests money in training (both technical and soft skills) which is beneficial especially when you are at the beginning of your career Clients across a range of different industry verticals Recent increase in leave entitlement to fall in line with industry standards

Cons

Resource Managers can be difficult to work with e.g. a lot of micro management Career progression can be difficult regardless of how you perform if you don't know the right people Poor wages compared to other similar companies Low (or no) pay rises Expected to work a higher amount of hours than which you are contracted
