Pros

Thought leadership, exciting data assets, internal culture shows recent improvements, generally good schedule flexibility (i.e. working from home, time-shifting if you have a doctor/dentist appointment, etc)

Cons

slow or uneven growth opportunities, imbalance in accountability among teams (some held to very high standards while others seem to become less and less accountable)

It could be so much more.

Pros

The fact that it could be so much more is one of the pros. It's in a great place in the industry to do a lot. There's plenty to learn about the industry and as a data analyst you are pretty hands on with the main data streams and can if you reach out be aware of everything new that's happening. Fantastic place to start your career, fire hose of information about digital media and you do learn a lot, very fast.

Cons

"The everything new that's happening" doesn't happen fast enough and comScore is often behind the curve. Sales bemoans the lack of movement and you can't blame them. Bureaucracy? If you're the really aggressive kind then this might not be the place for you. Things move at a deliberate place and most managers are unwilling to share responsibility so you're position in the totem pole is always clear. Approachable yes? True leaders, No. Micromanagement is rampant across teams from what I saw. When people realize they've hit this ceiling they move on and that's what you will notice across teams. Pay is moderate, not bad but nothing to write home about.

Thanks for the comments on your experience at comScore. One of the major programs we've implemented for 2017 is focused solely on improving manager capabilities here at comScore. We've always been a place of fast growth, and we realize that this is an important part of that growth. To that end, we're implementing this training across the company. We look forward to seeing the results of this!

Pros

Nice colleagues. Social events are constant.

Cons

No management at all. No innovation in projects. No investment in people. Too many "managers" for a few runners. Sales strategy is a joke.

Thanks for your review. We'd love for you to edit this with any more specific information so that we can address any particular concerns you have. We're a bit confused by what you mean by "Stop trying to be innovative..."
