Pros

location, co-workers (easy place to make friends)

Cons

you can be in the same job role for years and no one will care to promote or fire you...there's a wide level of accepted mediocrity here. little recognition for efforts departments are segregrated and rarely interact with each other no room for advancement if you're in a small group Salary is sub par compared to responsibilities Bad senior management with no leadership capacity Managers need to develop their staff
