Pros

Reasonably good perks. Free soft drinks & coffee. Business casual dress code. Flexible hours.

Cons

Too many mother-may-I's to be able to get anything done in a reasonable amount of time. Lack of internal communication of company strategy. Too many rumors swirling means someone is leaking information.

Pros

Helpful, pleasant, and intelligent coworkers. Knowledgeable key-players in engineering department help pursue continuing growth opportunities. Competitive salary/benefits. Industry leading technology in modem speed and reliability. Comfortable working environment. Flexibility in working hours and ability to take time off. Challenging engineering problems to solve.

Cons

Difficult coming up to speed on legacy projects/products due to their complexity combined with trouble finding supporting documentation. The product manuals are a great resource though.

Pros

Very few, and those are unintentional. It's possible to be completely invisible and unconnected from everyone you work with, especially management.

Cons

Quite a lot. Inept leadership that is indifferent to employees at best, antagonistic at worst. Hamstrung by bureaucracy and gratuitous processes. Getting anything done involves navigating a maze of disjointed offices and procedures. Management is utterly unconcerned with employees, and largely just going through the motions of practices they don't fully grasp. Since ComTech acquired TCS, there has been a very thick climate of fear and uncertainty. Several rounds of mass layoffs to cut costs while the President was having his giant office remodeled. Benefits have also been cut significantly. Compensation is mediocre.
