      Pros

      Pay is good enough that people will stay and be miserable instead of giving up the nice paycheck and benefits. Employee life/family issues are paramount. Flexibile work schedule and ability to telecommute (occasionally) are nice.

      Cons

      MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT. Horrible at every level. They choose the wrong people to manage people. They are clueless about handling conflict. The good ol' boys network is definintely alive and well, as many others have stated. Executive management is oblivious. It is a miracle that the company is still alive...most likely due to the technical folks working their rearends off to keep clients happy.

      Pros

      excellent pay and nice co-workers at the ground level, but the higher you go up the less friendly and professional they become.

      Cons

      feast or famine when it comes to work, which is made 10x worse by the constant smoking mirrors that management puts up (always saying how great the future and outlook is but people are constantly out of work [but still count as employees]). incompetent senior management - this cannot be stressed enough.
