      Pros

      Project managers learn the discipline of project management based on the PMI BOK. ISO 9001 QMS and ISO 14001 EMS registration speaks to management discipline. Diverse team of talented professionals across the company.

      Cons

      The company's history is tied to Congressional earmarks from former U.S. Representative John Murtha. News articles appeared frequently during my tenure pointing out how much money CTC received through Congressional earmarks. CTC is more of a technology demonstration and validation company and less a consulting company.

      Small town atmosphere. Not high pressure.

      Short term govt contracts make long term employment status always questionable.

      Pros

      The President and CEO truly cares about the workforce and he is committed to making CTC a great place to work.

      Cons

      Just like similar companies, contracts eventually come to an end. However, the company tries to find other projects for its employees when contracts close.
