Pros

Due to the lack of resources, lack of support from upper management, and an lack of an effective HR department, I was often placed in situations that required me to work on projects way above my pay grade. The only positive aspect to this is the growth to my own personal skill set.

Cons

I think the tone of my review is sufficient in terms of describing what a lackluster company Conde' Nast is behind the scenes. This company is quickly falling behind in the digital space, and if they do not heed the suggestions of their staff, they will be out of business in no time. Stop spending money on celebrities and appeasing the Publishers who make way too much money and barely spend time in the office, or solving brand problems. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Pros

None besides free snacks and coffee which almost every NYC company has now

Cons

Horrible bosses, no upward movement, no career development help, frequent turnover... the list goes on. You will be treated like you can be replaced in a day. No one in management will care about you as long as they’re job security is safe and pay keeps increasing as the company dies.

Pros

Looks great on a resume, at its best you do feel part of this iconic media lineage/legacy, we’re close the week between Christmas and New Years ever year

Cons

A lot of political maneuvering by people who aren’t invested in doing the work, everything is dictated by the sales organization so brand people have to fight to protect the integrity of their name. The video group (cne) is cannibalizing everything in name of YouTube views to varying results
