Pros

Great place to learn about the ins and outs of the publications industry. Great place to learn how to deal with pressure in a fast paced environment. The supervisors in my department were also wonderful when it came to giving feedback towards my performance.

Cons

Overall vibe of company is slightly uppity. Compensation for interns is not nearly enough compared to the amount of work they put in.

Pros

The brand recognition in the marketplace is hard to beat in media!

Cons

Every single day is grueling, filled with nonstop demands. It is difficult to keep up the pace AND meet others' expectations of personal appearance! You are constantly judged on both the personal and the professional.
