Pros

I spent over a decade at Conductor, and during that time I experienced tremendous personal and professional growth alongside the evolution of the product itself. One of Conductor’s greatest strengths is its people. At its core, the company truly values employees as whole humans—not just for what they produce, but for who they are. Leadership and teammates genuinely care about your life outside of work, from knowing your family and interests to actively supporting your happiness and growth in your role. I’ve seen Conductor go beyond words and show up for employees in times of real need, which is something you don’t forget. There’s also a strong culture of opportunity. As the company grows, new roles are often created organically when needs emerge, giving people the chance to stretch, evolve, and shape their own paths. The partnerships—both internally and with customers—are built on trust and authenticity, and there’s deep pride in building a strong, impactful product together. Even after leaving, the Conductor network remains incredibly strong. Former employees stay connected, support one another, and genuinely enjoy reuniting—it’s a special group of people who grew up together professionally. Conductor is a rare place where people are deeply committed to each other, the product, and their customers. If you’re looking for a company that invests in long-term growth, meaningful relationships, and doing the right thing—even when it’s hard—this is a special place to be.

Cons

Conductor hasn’t always been the market leader in every area of the SEO space, which at times can create pressure to move quickly and fill competitive gaps. That said, I consistently saw the company respond thoughtfully—listening closely to customers, innovating intentionally, and investing where it mattered most. Most recently, this mindset has positioned Conductor as a leader in AI-driven offerings, demonstrating its ability to evolve and stay competitive in a fast-changing landscape.

Pros

At Conductor, I get to work with many of the biggest and most exciting brands in the world. With the introduction of AI engines like ChatGPT, there has been tremendous growth and renewed interest in the SEO industry. As a result, every day brings something new, which makes Conductor an exciting and engaging place to work. The team is incredibly supportive. I’ve had two children since joining Conductor, and leadership has been very flexible, allowing me to balance my professional responsibilities with my personal life. Our CEO is a special person. He is a true entrepreneurial visionary, but also someone who genuinely cares about people. He’ll call to congratulate you after a major life event or stop by your desk just to see how you’re doing.

Cons

As with most fast-growing AI SaaS companies, workload can spike around EOQ and EOY.

Pros

When I arrived at Conductor, I knew there was going to be a steep learning curve. The MarTech space is evolving rapidly with the shift toward organic discoverability and SEO/GEO, and I had to learn how to evolve as a seller rather than just memorizing a product pitch. What truly stands out is the deliberate support system that made that transition possible. Between the enablement team and my direct management, I went through a rigorous and lengthy bootcamp that provided a genuine safety net. My manager prioritized my long-term understanding of the industry over immediate metrics, which gave me the permission to ask questions and find my footing without the typical high-pressure sales anxiety. This support isn't limited to just my immediate team. I have experienced a culture where veterans from Product and Customer Success will drop what they are doing to help me grasp technical nuances. This collaborative spirit starts at the very top with Seth and the entire C-Suite. It is rare to find a leadership team this involved and accessible; they set incredibly high standards for the organization, but they don't just demand excellence, they participate in it. Their involvement fosters an environment of continuous growth where you feel like you are building something meaningful alongside them. There is a picture on the wall in our office showing a graph of upward growth from the day you join to the day you leave, and in my experience, that hasn't just been a motivational poster. The momentum is real and it accelerates quickly, but it is fueled by a collective investment in each other's success. It is an environment centered entirely around what you make out of it, and if you are willing to put in the work, the company provides every tool and leadership support necessary to see that growth through.

Cons

I wish I would have found Conductor sooner.
