Generous vacation time form the start. Some roles offer flexibility to work remote. They definitely like to promoted from within when possible.

Cons

401k match is only 25% . Pretty low compared to most other companies. Health benefits are okay. Could be a little better.

Cons

Level 1 help desk team consists of employees originally hired as data entry clerks or as400 operators. A huge amount of level one work ends up at level two due to the lack of experience and basic troubleshooting. Troubleshooting more advanced issues is very difficult when most of my team's time is spent on petty tickets that should have been resolved at level 1.

While we are troubled by your comments on the Level I Help Desk support and will certainly make our IT management organization aware of your concerns, we would like to take this opportunity to mention that we have recently hired a new leader to our Help Desk and are implementing new processes to better serve our callers.

We do strive to keep a smaller company feel and it is why we have many long term employees. We do agree also that communication for remote employees can be sometimes challenging and as you state, we operate in a very competitive business.
