      Pros

      Friendly work environment. Really nice people. People help one another. No nasty corporate back-stabbing like other places I have worked.

      Cons

      Systems are really old and hard to get used to. Cafeteria food is expensive.

As you may be aware, PC Connection is in the process of reviewing alternatives to replacing some legacy systems. Also, PC Connection works with our food service to keep costs under control and to assure that costs do compare favorably with nearby alternatives.

      Thank for your comments on what it is like to work for GovConnection. We do believe we have a very good work environment as you state. We do regularly bench mark our compensation programs, and have established a salary grade structure which is very competitive in the areas we work and live in. Compensation varies based on a number of factors such as time in position, previous work history, and job performance. While we do not offer free coffee, there are numerous benefits and perks we do offer so one needs to look at the total offering. We recognize that the transformation to a National Solutions Provider is not an easy one, but we are making significant strides to do this across all departments.

      Pros

      Work in a friendly, fun environment with great team members and leaders. Constant training and skill building exercises. Freedom to make decisions on how to grow your product line and increase vendor funding. Company funded events and outings are a blast. Team contests with cool prizes.

      Cons

      In product management it can be difficult at times to hit goals and for larger product lines it can be difficult to have a major impact on your bonus. That being said when the line is doing well the bonuses can be very profitable. Aditionally, reporting tools and customer tracking systems are outdated.
