      Good people, questionable vision

      Pros

      The day to day people are great and warm. Free lunches are awesome. Benefits are OK

      Cons

      The leadership, every single one of them, seem more like they're a product of being around for a long time than being smart or good at what they do. Over the years I was there I saw them lay people off and hire six months later, then lay people off again. It's like they don't know how to budget or forecast

      Pros

      Good benefits with unlimited vacation, and free lunch everyday. And it has quite a lot of events and activities throughout the year. Top management seems to know what they're doing as they keep changing business direction in order to adapt, and survive in the competition.

      Cons

      Over the last few years, it has acquired several companies, most of them didn't work out well, but a couple of them seemed to do fine. As mentioned earlier, they have to keep changing business direction to survive, and layoffs are part of the game. There are numerous rounds of layoffs during my time at the company. If you end up working here, you just have to prepare for it.

      Pros

      Smart, articulate, kind culture. This company has grown up --with a consistent through line of wanting to pivot and stay relevant. They have done a great job of keeping a fun culture focus without being irresponsible like in their early days.

      Cons

      Cons? The business pivots could be seen as a con--yet I think the culture of try it and fail fast is a solid recipe to stay current.
