Pros

Big boy in Energy (Electricity). Experience of the team. Name carries weight.

Cons

Baltimore. Enough said. No training for guys who are new to the business. And they take a bunch of analysts/associates who dont have a fig of an idea of what electricity trading is all about. its all on the job( even the basic things like the databases/sources of information/proprietary tools used as part of daily work. the less we talk about helping ppl to understand the math behind the "exotics" that get executed in the firm the better it is) so it take take 2-3 years before one can look one self in the mirror and be confident about her/his capability.

Pros

Stable career. Good development program for young professionals.

Cons

"Old" and outdated company policy and benefits is not keeping up with the trend of the electronic age. Schedule is not as flexible as it can be. Pay is comparatively lower than market worth.
