Pros

WARNING: When they take you on here, they ask you to write a 5-star review on Glassdoor, and your manager checks up to make sure you’ve done it. Every single 5 star review is fake. The tech's really old and the culture is toxic. It's like walking on eggshells all the time, fearing you'll get chewed out and treated like a piece of rubbish for the smallest slip-up. You look at one of the top dogs the wrong way or wear a t-shirt instead of a shirt, and you're gone in an instant. The higher-ups are taught to breed fear and negativity, and they get treated just as bad, all the way up to the big boss man who's known for throwing fits, going off on one, and firing folk left and right.

Cons

If you’re in sales, you’re expected to lie to customers and partners, showing off stuff that isn’t even real or chatting about the CEO’s big plans (that never actually happen). When you finally sell something (if you do, because most sales folks don’t ever sell anything), the customer’s gonna be proper hacked off when you don’t deliver and the company will find a way to not pay you commission. Half the time, us sales lot didn’t even know we were promising stuff that was not real or that we’d never be able to make good on it anyway. At first, I thought it were a decent opportunity because most of the lot there are young grads fresh out of uni doing most of the important jobs. Only about ten folks or so in the company have been there more than three years. Everyone else is straight out of school. Now and then, they bring in someone with a bit of experience for a few months to see what they know, then boot them out not long after. The whole place is run like some secret club. Hard to learn when you can't talk things through openly.

Pros

None at all. Terrible place

Cons

I was hired with the promise of being trained up on the company systems, which was not the case at all. From day one, I was thrown into the deep end, being told to 'just do it' when it came to supporting customers and fault finding. No support given at all in my department, with the management promoted to their positions without the knowledge need to support and manage a team. After months of having the find people myself to train me and help me, I was put on the Change Rotation which was poorly run. Again, there was no training or support offered. I asked if I could do this rotation at another point as I only had 4 months of experience, as this role required updating and managing critical customer systems. I was told no due to lack of people, and 'someone has to suffer through this rotation this month.' I completed the rotation with the little support I had, only to be told off for not putting enough effort and doing a poor job. I posed the question 'How do you expect me to do a good job when nobody has trained me, or even told me what to be doing? I've been alone for a month trying my best with nobody to offer me any support', to which there was no reply. I added 'I was told that I would be trained on the job, but there hasn't been any training and you've put me in the hardest rotation after me being here for only 4 months.' Again, there was a stunned silence. I was told off for about 30 minutes. After the meeting, I received a pathetic a message saying 'sorry I had to play bad cop in front of management, but I agree with what you were saying.' This was a total joke. After the meeting, I sent an email quitting, returned my computer and never went back. They told me I had to work my notice period, but I provided a doctors note signing me off for stress and mental health reasons. A truly terrible time. The next day I received a call from them asking me to come back. After saying no, they wanted me to do an exit interview, which I declined. They clearly knew the issues but chose to do nothing about it. This company has a terrible reputation and the technology is mediocre at best. I was often told to lie to customers about the issues they were having and was told to blame their internet connection instead of the clear faults on our end. The company has had so many people quit due to the same story as mine. Half of the people I joined with quit before the 6 month probationary period finished. For those who stayed, there is no progression and the company tries to force you into roles you don't want to do just to fill in the gaps as they struggle to fill those positions. Many people were signed off for mental health issues. I genuinely can't believe their practices. They lure you in with a high graduate salary, but fail to tell you you'll get no training, are expected to work beyond your contracted hours every day, and you'll have to work night shift (7pm to 7am). When asked why the glassdoor reviews are so bad, they deny that any of these concerns are true. All round horrible experience, terrible management, no support at all. Not a nice place to work. Run far away.
