      Good place for job; bad place for a career

      Pros

      You will never be laid off or fired. Good place to get entry level experience or coast along (if that is what you want).

      Cons

      There is little room for advancement and promotions are based on years of service rather than merit based. Nepotism is rampant - you get hired based on who you know or are related to rather than your actual qualifications or experiences. This breeds a lot of dissatisfaction among good employees leading to high turnover rate. As the company does not lay off and rarely fires its employees, instead preferring to transfer "underperforming" employees to different departments, deadweights get shuffled around. Pay is below industry standards.

      Pros

      Great company that motivates employees with bonuses, tickets to the ball game, awards banquet, employee discounts, free food, good insurance benefits, 401K, paid holidays & paid time off. They really do care about patient health, have very high standards in manufacturing, helpful and patient production workers/trainers, and rooted in local community of Bloomington. The culture is friendly and energetic. Pay is good. They want employees to succeed.

      None that I'm aware of.
