Pros

Indentured servitude that leads the toilet for most of those who generate revenue. No pros except for the ones scamming potential devs and customers.

Cons

Lies to employees about opportunities, generally making false accusations against said employees if he/she does not fit in budget model (charging customers 2-2.5 what the employee is paid, then making up w/e nonsense they can to terminate) and to customers about Cook employee experience coming out of FastTrack, which is mute. Looks to use and discard talented individuals whenever possible.

Sorry to hear that you had such a less than great experience with us. While we cannot speak to your particular situation, we believe in ethical and honest treatment of both our employees and business partners. We know that happy employees mean happy customers. Thanks for taking the time to review us!

Not Great

Pros

Nice/smart instructors good paced bootcamp covering full-stack essentials Good personal development portion (although it didn't have anything to do with programming and much of it was trying to guilt trip employees to exhibit liberal qualities, such as pointing out "under-privileged" populations and how when we can we should do everything we can to help them )

Cons

After graduating top of my class, they sold my contract to another company after 10 months of not finding me a job, the company they sold the contract to got me a 1 year contract as a programmer paying about $30k/year, after the contract ended they did nothing to find me more work, I contacted Cook Systems who had said they would find me another job after the contract ended, (and originally said they'd pay me between contracts) Cook Systems did nothing to find me additional work and didn't pay me between contracts like promised.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that you had a less than stellar experience with us! It seems like there may have been a misunderstanding, as we are unable to sell a person's contract. We also have increased our pay quite a bit since you were here. At any rate, we appreciate you leaving a review, as it helps us to improve.
