      Pros

      Job security through the union, good pay, some of the co-workers made the job fun, and if you kept yourself busy then the 8-hour shift went fast.

      Cons

      The union also protected lazy co-workers, some supervisors were unfair (but not all), the factory smelled like rubber, and in the summer it was extremely hot.

      The atmosphere was OK. The people for the most part were easy to work with and generally nice.

      The pay was sub par for the work performed in comparison to others in the area.

      Pros

      Great working environment. Working for a global company provides many opportunities. Good benefits. The company is a good corporate citizen with a strong focus on charity work.

      Cons

      Due to the economy and changes in the industry the company has gone through a lot of change. For the most part the change has been good for the overall health of the company.
