Pros

Good place to work if you are in a senior management role as they seem to be looked after

Cons

Constant abuse from the customers that haven't read the terms and conditions and are unaware of the Copart processes. Junior, inexperienced people in some senior roles, lack of direction and leadership from the senior team, very little interaction from leadership team. The company has developed a blame culture and they are always looking for someone to blame to protect their own position. The company bend over backwards to keep insurance companies happy but treat their buyers as second class people, they will exploit every opportunity to increase profits. Even taking the opportunity during the CV 19 pandemic. If you are going in at regional level or above then I think you'll enjoy it. Anything below this and I would really think twice. this was the worst career move that I could ever have made.

Pros

Can't really think of any at that time, not sure how it is now. I loved Copart corporate and enjoyed going to training in Dallas. The Columbus location needed a complete overhaul.

Cons

Very poor management. And the hours really took a toll on my family life.
