Pros

none that I can think of other than free parking

Cons

Worst employer experience I have ever had. Senior "leaders" are the most unprofessional and unpolished group of people. They hire and fire based on personality, nothing to do with skill. If you drink the Kool aid and kiss up, you will thrive in this toxic environment.

Horrible Managment

Pros

8-5ish. Some yards follow this. Decent pay, if you are working inside. Offers over priced and essentially useless insurance.

Cons

Offers over priced and essentially useless insurance. Yard staff treated and paid like dogs. Unless you are the managers "favorite" you will end up rotting in the spot you are in. Well, this is how it is in my yard, YARD 144 Greer S.C.

Pros

Busy, days go by quickly. Most locations are out of major cities so traffic to work is typically light. Monday - Friday schedule. Lower level employees see the black and white policy book as a pro but management sees it as a con as it discourages any out of the box thinking. Decent pay. Good ESPP Program and stock prices are rising.

Cons

Poor communication from upper management. No free thinking and does not promote employees ideas even though they try to put in efforts to do so. New "promote employee programs" consistently fail due to lack of buy-in from the executive team. They do not believe in what they are trying to sell to its employees, and many times thinks it is a waste of time. If you are in sales you must be able to drink with the bosses, if you are not a drinker and not extremely social it is hard to get in their click. They like to promote people to management because they are hard workers but often times promote those without leadership skills. To be seen as someone who is considered to be promotable you have to be "on of the guys" and keep up with their social activities.
