Pros

I liked the overall job itself.

Cons

The managers were very unprofessional. Training on their systems was the worst training experience for me. They didn't want to train you... Their idea of training was handing you earphones to listen to instructions on the computer. No physical training just videos that had nothing to do with the systems you would be using!

I'm very sorry to learn that you felt your training was not sufficient and that the treatment you received did not live up to the expectations we set for you when you joined. We invest in training resources (aside from online computer-based-training) and expect that our managers will give their employees a solid baseline orientation and training so they will be successful in their roles. Clearly you felt this did not happen and I will pass along your concerns to my field staff and ask them to reiterate with our managers the importance of consistent, solid training plans for new employees. Thanks for your comment. Rory Seidens VP, Human Resources - Copart

Pros

I have been working for Copart for a little over 11 months now. I have learned a lot of the business and I have been able to really appreciate what this company has to offer to an employee. Copart does not only push you to be a better employee, they push you to be a better person in life. Copart's new mission, vision, and values prove that Copart not only care about your career in Copart but they care about your growth as an individual. What I love most about this company is that we are not co-workers we are a family.

Cons

-Honestly I appreciate everything this company has done for me and have absolutely no bad things to say about this company.

Pros

Awesome medical, dental, vision, 401k, ESOP, tuition reimbursement, competitive pay. It is definitely hard work but the right person can be very successful.

Cons

Since Copart is a self auditing company there is alot of pressure on internal audit scores and sometimes micro managing is the only way to achieve success in the audit categories. Hires off the street over promoting from within just because the candidate looks good on paper.
