Pros

Honestly there is none! Initially, I thought working from home would be a major advantage, just as many of you might expect. At first, it seemed like a great opportunity, but that feeling quickly faded. Unfortunately, the job ended up being more draining than anticipated, and the initial excitement wore off.

Cons

Lack of Work-Life Balance: The demands of this job make it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The expectation to be constantly on calls leaves little time for breaks, even for basic needs such as; using the bathroom and wiping your butt. Limited Benefits: Other than health insurance, which isn't great, there are few benefits offered. This makes it hard to justify the low pay. ( They will try to make you feel like the pay is fair because you get to work from home... NO NO NO!!!! They don't even pay you half for the work you do) Negative Work Environment: Even the managers are unhappy with their roles, and it's evident that many employees are actively seeking other opportunities. The high turnover rate speaks volumes about the work conditions here. (Over 70 nurses to maybe 40 now in a VERY short time frame) Unrealistic Workload: The expectations are unrealistic, with little regard for the actual time it takes to complete tasks. You’re expected so many calls in a hour (Let’s break down the math: There are 60 minutes in an hour. If the first call takes 10 minutes, the second 22 minutes, the third 25 minutes, and the fourth 15 minutes, it’s clear that the time required far exceeds what’s available in a single hour, leaving no time to actually provide the support we advertise to these poor folks.) Not Recommended for Remote Work: If you're seeking a work-from-home opportunity, I'd advise leaving this one alone. It's not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone. The place is disorganized, and they constantly use the excuse of being a startup to justify the chaos. They claim that hiring more nurses will lighten the load, but that hasn’t happened. Honestly, I doubt this company will last another year, and for the sake of the Telehealth nurses and their mental health, I hope it doesn’t.
