Pros

-Great people are in leadership positions from CEO down to Team Leads The first company I am affiliated (in over 30 years) which actually does follow through its "People come first" principle. The company leadership does support employees moving from project to project if they express a desire to do so, either broaden their technical experience, change an activity spectrum, or move up. -Training is not just available, but strongly encouraged -No matter how deviating you opinion may be, it will be heard, weighted, and analyzed. Not discarded.

Cons

Just like with any DoD contracting there is always some level of uncertainty, but the company leadership goes out of their way to eliminate that factor from its employees.

Cons

Core4ce started as a mission-focused company built on knowledge, trust, and respect. That mission was tailored to a specific client base and built on three critical components: operations, analysis, and science and technology. It was audacious and a little chaotic, but it was held together by shared values, cooperation and a collaborative spirit. Following some growth and acquisitions the company grew to a size where some reorganization and rationalization became necessary. Unfortunately the reorganization in the Fall of 2021 was hastily put together and poorly thought through, elevating some individuals to the executive ranks who seemingly do not share the original founding values of the company and lack the temperament and experience-based judgment for such roles. The Chief Growth Officer in particular has demonstrated a penchant for disparagement of others and their work, a lack of professionalism in her treatment of her own team and engaged in practices creating an environment of distrust with those with whom she interacts. She’s created a toxic environment, leading to the recent departure of the well-respected and highly capable VP of Proposal Management; it is also widely believed that the entire Proposal team is looking to leave. Many people avoid interacting with her at all costs. Recently, a small market, small business mindset has emerged coupled with all the worst of the old hard-nosed Jack Welch management philosophy. The company has shifted from being collaborative and cooperative in line with the principles of know, trust, and respect to much more competitive where solo “heroic” efforts are lauded. It does not appear that the executive team is working together. Expectations are not clearly communicated and now people are spending too much time trying to figure out what they should be doing to satisfy internal “needs” and not enough on delivering superior service to clients. Morale is sagging. Could not recommend to a friend currently.

Thank you for taking the time to articulate your concerns. These are very serious accusations. As you note, our company was founded on the principles of trust and respect. Those core principles remain unchanged, and it is only through candid and direct conversations that we can effectively address any personnel concerns. We encourage every member of our team to speak openly with managers, our HR team, and our CEO about any challenges - both large and small - so that we can take quick, purposeful, and informed action.
