Pros

Good Pay, Some Potential to be under great leadership. Some possibility to move around, or learn something new

Cons

Toxic, Silo'd Teams Gate Keepers for information, blocking growth of those that just do there job. Leadership is just as toxic as the team in some situations. if you dont have a military or police/jail background, you will more than likely not fit. everyone is all about themselves, and do not like to share the wealth in knowledge sharing. Almost like the person is afraid you are trying to steal their job. if you do not gain the graces from the upper leadership, you will feel it, see it, and so will everyone else. unfortunately i dislike almost everything about this place, but ended up on a decent small team that keeps me there. They have no problem to work you to your bone, and give no recognition, and have no problem with it. its like a cult, so be careful, i have been looking to leave for some time, and found that some leadership found out about me interviewing elsewhere, and they continue to fill my day extremely full, and when i need to take time for a dentist appointment or something(secretely interview) they are all trying to block it by questioning me about what procedure i need and try to downplay whatever reason i come up with in order to pushback, and have had projects put on my lap with i dont think you are gonna make that appointment, might want to call em... responses i had a dog pass away in the morning, and had me off when it came to concentration and all for the day, had a meeting with leadership, and he asked what was wrong, i explained that my dog that was almost 14 years old, passed a few hours before. His only response was. I always say, pets are a distraction, and have no place in where you work. Lets go onto it.. referring to the starting the meeting. this individual has been known to pull meetings to a stop, and call out someone for their cat being in the background and shaming them, completely out of line comments, disgusting vibe

Pros

The corporate office’s effort to organize some lighthearted social activities in the work day is wholehearted and nice.

Cons

The top two IT “leaders” (a misapplied term here) are gravely inappropriate, inadequate, and problematic. Their combined shortcomings reflect a clear inability to lead effectively, and their fragile egos are offended by even the mildest feedback, resulting in targeted bullying. Since the appointment of the current head of IT, turnover has reached approx. 50% within 3.5 years, including many cases of wrongful terminations and constructive dismissals. It seems the C-suite prioritized DEI factors over qualifications when selecting this individual, whose leadership style is marked by excessive micromanagement and erratic mood swings. To make it all worse, the organization lacks advocates for employees subjected to these profoundly unacceptable behaviors.
