Pros

- Everyone is very nice - Slow paced - It seems like they are a fairly stable business - Doesn't have a 'tech-bro' vibe

Cons

- You work in the C++ framework the founder created. So you get some C++ experience, but it's very niche. I felt like I feel like I regressed as a developer - Not much modern processes. For instance, they don't use Git or SVN, they have an in-house version control which is not great to work with - Occasionally, you need to work with external clients and do stuff early in the morning or late in the evening to work when the client is not open -Pay is far below market -- by an area of 30%+. - It doesn't really feel like there's a ton of upwards advancement available

Pros

it gives you a peek of the credit union industry and its processes. if you plan to stay your whole live in one industry and learning one single way of solving the credit union problems then by all means. Only fine if you intern here or if this is your first job. Sales does a good job of bringing new customers, but the success doesn't spread among all employees (only the inner circle).

Cons

- Crappy benefits - Toxic environment, micro management runs rampant - Open wide office (only those in the clique have special offices), so your monitor can be seen by everyone no privacy - One single monolithic library that's developed by the founder, you have to learn this library to thrive, this of course will not help you anywhere else (wasted years) - Below the average salaries
