Pros

Good tools and some capable colleagues. Exposure to the industry landscape can be valuable early in your career.

Cons

Lack of transparency from management and inconsistency in recognizing actual contributions. Performance seemed to have little bearing on growth opportunities. Leadership roles were sometimes symbolic, with no real progression or support. Felt lot of bias.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your honesty and recognize how important transparency, fair recognition, and genuine growth opportunities are for our team members. Hearing that you felt there was inconsistency and bias, and that leadership support fell short, is something we take seriously. We have avenues for employees to flag these concerns, and I hope you were able to leverage these to flag the areas you mentioned. We’re working hard to foster a culture where performance is recognized fairly and everyone feels their contributions matter. While it may not always be perfect, our leadership teams are committed to improving transparency and creating clear paths for growth and development. Your feedback is vital as we strive to foster a supportive and equitable environment. Thank you. --Carina Cortez

Pros

The spin and lipstick are in full effect these days

Cons

Clunky, legacy technology, with an unintuitive user interface Consistent loss of market share, which was achieved primarily through acquisition. Competitors like Docebo and Absorb regularly outperform Cornerstone in a highly competitive market. Deep pockets from private equity have given Cornerstone a shiny and bright look, but pull back the curtain, and things look very different. Customer churn is increasing due to the numerous options available.

Thanks for sharing your candid feedback. We hear you, and we understand that the user experience and market dynamics are top concerns. It’s honest input like yours that helps us see where we need to grow. We recognize there’s work to do around our technology and user interface, and our teams are focused on making consistent improvements to create a smoother, more intuitive experience. Innovation and modernization remain high priorities, and we’re actively listening to both customer feedback and market trends to guide our next steps. Competition is definitely fierce, but we’re committed to not only keeping pace, but moving forward in genuine ways—not just on the surface, but behind the scenes as well. Our leadership is taking customer loyalty and satisfaction seriously and we’re rolling out initiatives aimed at reducing churn and enhancing product value. I’d welcome the chance to speak further if you’re open to it. --Carina Cortez
