Pros

Ideal workplace with a professional and supportive environment. Provides in-office meals for added convenience. Game zone with carrom, chess, and table tennis for relaxation and fun. Perfectly organized seating arrangements. Highly operational and well-maintained facilities. Great mentors fostering a self-learning environment for growth and development.

Cons

Limited Remote Work Options for New Joiners: While in-office amenities are excellent, the emphasis on being onsite might be a drawback for those who prefer remote work. However, this setup offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with experienced team members, gaining exposure to the expertise and insights of industry leaders in person.

Thank you for your review. As you know by now, we have announced an official Return to Office for India which is a hybrid model of a required 3-days per week minimum in office. And, we are rolling this out globally, thoughtfully, to ensure we understand local needs. Depending on the flexibility you need, please discuss with your manager. Thanks - Carina Cortez

Great Company purpose - ELT disconnected from employees

Pros

Purpose-Driven Mission: The company has a commendable mission focused on providing high-quality learning solutions that drive both individual and organizational growth. This mission resonates well with employees and clients alike. Positive Industry Contribution: By empowering people with knowledge, the company holds an important role in fostering lifelong learning, which makes it a valuable player in the education and development market.

Cons

Disconnected Leadership. The CEO, from a larger, unrelated corporate background, often appears disconnected from the industry lacking a deep understanding of learning and development . His leadership style feels impersonal and focused on metrics rather than fostering a culture of belonging, which has left employees feeling unsupported and misunderstood. This disconnect between executive vision and team values has negatively impacted morale, as employees struggle to feel that their passion for learning is genuinely shared by leadership.

Our CEO played an active role in shaping Cornerstone’s new vision and values, and is personally committed to fostering an inspiring and inclusive culture where every Cornerstar can do their best work. Inclusivity was among the highest-scoring themes in our last engagement survey earlier this year, reinforcing our dedication to holding leaders to high standards of respect and support. If you feel any leadership practices aren’t meeting those expectations, please reach out directly so we can address your specific concerns. - Carina Cortez
