Pros

-Great collegial atmosphere -nice people -even in times of stress people do not become testy or nasty -pay is competitive. -management does care about what happens to you and whether you are satisfied with your experience. -analysts are usually not told how their work fits in with the overall strategy of a case (you can initiate and ask, but you will usually not be told without asking).

Cons

-while the people are a pleasure to work with, advancement opportunities are limited; -a lot of repetition in the work -the industry is not exciting and is driven by the legal world's calendar -the work is not exciting most of the time, unless you are at the very top and are writing or helping to write expert reports. -learning curve is not very steep; if you are looking for a challenge you might not find it here.

Pros

At Cornerstone Research one have the opportunity to work with great colleagues on interesting, high profile cases. The firm culture promotes team work and the production of high quality work product. I cannot imagine a better place to work.

Cons

The nature of our work means that the hours can be long and somewhat unpredictable. For at least a couple of weeks a year, all I do is work seven days a week.
