Pros

Small company with room for growth. In my case no territories for sales growth. Upper Management very employee focused as well as our HR Department. We like to celebrate

Cons

Need to invest in more robust systems to keep up with customer technology needs. More current event industry news shared throught all offices.

Pros

Family always comes first. It's in our culture at Cornerstone. Our mission statement "to provide a better place for people to work" says it all and is why Cornerstone exists and it starts at the top. Our co-workers genuinely care for each other and we have the freedom to make decisions on our own. When 39% of your employees have over 15 years of service with the company there's really nothing left to say.

Cons

Not much to say bad about a company that puts their employees first?

Pros

After having been at a large public company in the industry, Cornerstone simply has a different feel. The company motto may mean something different to different people as what makes it a better place to work can be unique to the individual, but the company puts a significant amount of energy and dollars toward making that happen whatever it may be. The ability to be an individual contributor and work outside of your set job description on any given day can allow an individual to grow and learn without an official title or position change. At the same time, we are constantly working within department teams and across other departments to create a successful outcome for us and our customers. Some individuals just don't fit and Cornerstone is pretty quick to identify when someone doesn't meet our core values. If there is a problem, looking past it affects many other employees. Every company has to make hard decisions and no company is perfect, but at least leadership acknowledges they're going to make mistakes and their openness is encouraging. We are lucky to be a part of the family.

Cons

Creating a better place for some to work could potentially make it not as great of a place to work for others. You cant make everyone happy all the time. But, at the end of the day, I would rather be with a company that is trying their best to do that everyday, but might not get it right 100% of the time for everyone as opposed to a company that doesn't try at all.
