Pros

Fantastic Work Life Balance, great benefits. Union people make good money, company people get short changed.

Cons

Poor Pay Scale and Employee Improvement Plan. Very limited in Training for career progression. Management will trip over a dollar to pick up a penny. Experience and results are not as important as theoretical knowledge (Paper Degree). The buzz word "visibility" means if you take credit for others people work and present means you make more money as management likes politicians more than workers.

No clear direction, little coordination between departments, ores in the water paddling in different directions gets frustrating, no work life balance, struggling through continuous transition. Employees not consistently treated with respect from management. Career opportunities non existent in plant/ division. Some if working with corporate departments.
