Pros

Years ago, Corning was a very good place to work. Over the years they have done nothing but go down hill.

Cons

They have no trust in the people they hire on with the company. They seem to always hire contractors. Corning has turned into a company that will pay a Million Dollars to make a Dollar, but they will not pay a Dollar to make a Million Dollars.

Pros

Decent training programs are available if you can get approved Some employees will get lots of personal development Bonuses can be quite generous

Cons

Hard work will only get you so far, if management doesn't go to bat to get you opportunities, you will not have any here. There's little to no recognition to the non-glamorous jobs that have to get done. If you aren't in the spot light, no one cares that you're there at all.
