Pros

Pension and Benefits are fantastic. The company invests in you by training you and giving you opportunities to move around to different areas.

Cons

The cons are company has had many layoffs in the past and employees are always having the possibility in the back of their minds.

Pros

The people are friendly. I got along great with my dept.

Cons

They acquired Mediatech and that's when things went south. People point fingers too much and throw 1 another under the bus. While under former owner of Mediatech there were no such things as temp employees, layoffs and strange rules. When Corning took over all the above applied. I was laid off 1 month shy of my 12 yr anniversary. Upper Management sucks there. They will not defend good hard working people in times of need. Oh and don't get me started on the low pay. Let's just say the employees can make more than their boss and yet do less work and bear less responsibility. Backwards!!
