Pros

Great salary and benefits. Great employees who seem like family. Flexible work schedule (to a point). Up to date software to create quality work.

Cons

No room for advancement. No creative workspace. Quality work is stifled by assembly line type of projects and too many fast tracks. Bickering with customers.

Pros

High exposure to wide range of scientific areas.

Cons

As a technician it can be tough to get out of the Contract Employee trap. Lay-offs often loom.
