Pros

Benefits, professional education opportunities (online and in-house training). Job stability, nice offices, excellent cafeterias. Additional benefits include a humane and understanding environment for personal/work issues (flex time).

Cons

Resistance to change, entrenched bureaucratic methods, nepotism, lack of clear career advancement paths, management indifference/ignorance to pertinent issues within their own departments.

Cons

The commercial group makes new product introductions all the time, manufacturing struggles to keep up.
