Pros

Cortland is a forward thinking company. We go beyond saying that our people are important, we are committed to hiring and developing a best in class organization, while maintaining a family feel to it! I’ve worked many places before, but for the first time in my career I feel I can realize my full potential.

Cons

The pace is very fast, so you need to be able to think and act quickly.

Pros

I've been with Cortland Partners for almost two years and the growth within the organization is impressive. The environment is constantly changing and very fast paced which is the result of employee input and recommendations. They are constantly changing processes to improve efficiency based on employee feedback, which is often a trial and error run through. They aren't quite where they want to be but the vision is there and they are making great strides to bring it to fruition. The pay is great, people are supportive and you truly manage your site.

Cons

Despite some of the reviews, I can't say anything stands out, It's a young, growing company and its run as such. If you don't or can't adapt to change, you will likely struggle. You won't be managing just your site staff, you must be highly competent in the business side of the asset. If you can go with the changes and trial runs and have the confidence to speak up if it's not working, you're a good fit. The organization relies on feedback to improve the worklife for employees but as with anything, you can't make everyone happy.
