Pros

Corvias hires people who are committed and passionate about making a difference. You will find that people really do care about one another in a genuine way.

Cons

Until earlier in the year, I would have said this is an awesome place to work. The owners don't communicate as much as they need to and with the recent reorg - a lot of caring leaders were lost and that has changed the culture. We finally had strong female leaders and now that is gone. Don't trust what we are being told anymore. So sad. It feels more like it is about the money than the employees or culture and that stinks because its never been that way before.

We have made a number of changes within the organization intended to reduce bureaucracy and better empower our employees to make decisions and take care of our customers. While it’s very difficult to say goodbye to our friends and coworkers, we believe these decisions will better enable us to commit to being a workplace that is passionate, respectful and positive.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. They had a really great collection of people.

Cons

For a company that incessantly preached about culture, honesty, and openness just a couple short years ago to today...mass layoffs of employees with no warning - business immaturity and confusion of leadership. Really sad. Some notice and transition planning for employees that have helped sustain the organization really isn't unreasonable. The focus has drastically shifted to spending any and all budget dollars on anyone that has a chance to generate revenue for the company, by way of scores of new "partnership development" VPs. Such a wild shift in a short period of time really makes one wonder about the sustainability of an organization under the current leadership. If you're in search of a potentially tumultuous career, Corvias is worth a shot.
