Pros

Benefits: 401K + 401K matching, Health Insurance decent

Cons

-Total lack of autonomy. You will not be empowered to make any decisions. Everything is approved from the top, down. -Painful, long, drawn-out processes to get anything done, from getting reimbursed, to creating a new product to even getting approval for new hires -HR double-speak nightmare: There are new incentives every quarter to "improve" yourself or "invest" in your future. However, no real dialogue to improve day to day operations -Silo'd to death - CoreLogic is a company of acquisitions. There are multiple different "core departments" and within that, its a maze of different leaders, compliance offers, directors and underlings that have no idea what to do beyond their one assigned task. Trying to coordinate across departments is nearly impossible. One - Its a maze to find who can actually do what and two - each department only cares about their P&L, not the company as a whole, so they have little to no incentive to collaborate I came to CoreLogic under an acquisition and after the big song and dance, it only took a few months to realize I needed to run if I wanted to have any control over my career and personal satisfaction with work. If you are just looking for a 9-5 job, with little advancement or raises year after year, but also no one pushing you to do more, CoreLogic is the place for you.

Pros

EPTO - I have unlimited PTO I am fortunate to work with bright people and a good manager.

Cons

EPTO - pto is unlimited assuming you have time to take PTO. But if you don´t then you don´t get paid out for unused PTO either. EVERYTHING is outsourced. From low level work, to HR to high level skilled work. Everyone good that cared about the company has left. Upper management is only using their position as a stepping stone to their next meal ticket. The new career path that was recently rolled out to us is worth as much as the paper the marketing materials were printed on. Benefits are awful and I used to think they were on par with any other corporation but after comparing notes with other friends I´ve realized the benefits here are awful. If you are above a certain pay grade then you get EPTO. But hourly employees get 3 weeks PTO (that is sick and vacation) then after 5 years you get 4 weeks. After FIVE years. And your PTO is earned. My husband´s company gave him his 3 weeks PTO on his first day. And he still had sick and personal days separate from PTO. Annual raises have been mediocre, that´s if we get a raise at all. There have been several years where the company froze pay increases. Layoffs are frequent if not yearly.
