Pros

Get paid every other Friday.

Cons

CEO should be called Chainsaw Frank. The cost cutting through job eliminations and outsourcing is never ending.

Pros

Relaxed work environment, you can wear almost whatever you want. You can usually set your own schedule and work the hours that work for you. Overtime is usually available for those that want it. Paid time off is good and increases with your time with the company. Holidays are hit and miss. You'll get the day after Thanksgiving off, but you won't get Veterans day or Columbus day.

Cons

Overtime is often required for months on end. Workload is high which is why your are always working overtime. Staff count decisions tend to be made on the size of your client and not what the client expects and contractual obligations. Pay is lousy. There were no raises in 2017 and 2018 raises didn't make up for that. Because the pay is low, people leave and you are constantly retraining new people. Instead of rewarding people with bonuses, they award Applause points, if you are lucky. Usually a whopping 25 points. You can use the points like credit card points and get stuff from the gallery. The merchandise is more points than you would spend in a normal store and the gift cards often cost more points than their face value, 28 points for a $25 dollar gift card. Also, the office never closes even when the parking lot isn't plowed and the snow is so high the doors won't close all the way after being opened. Cars get stuck in the parking lot all the time both on arrival and leaving. If you drive anything that isn't a truck or SUV you will get stuck at some point.

Pros

My product team was fantastic, from the VP to the newest support employee. In the office everyone was treated with respect, and this was what I observed of other product teams in our location. The kind of place where sometimes employees left an hour early, or took a long lunch, but we were all willing to stay hours longer, work from home or come in on the weekends, not because of company pressure, but because of pride in our product.

Cons

Instead of promotions from within, someone would be hired from outside the company who never had much experience with our products. Decisions would be made about products and teams with that same lack of understanding or experience. My biggest problem was their willingness to dispose of dedicated and committed product teams who were personally invested in their product, in favor of offshore workers because it was marginally less expensive.
