      Pros

      Some teams have managed to overcome the lack of support from upper management, and have pulled together to perform effectively.

      Cons

      Management balanced their first and second quarter budget by postponing the yearly merit raises until July, but did not tell employees until April (when the raises would usually take effect). Initiative is not rewarded at lower levels; all directives come from upper management. Non-salaried employees have had bonuses rescinded, merit raises reduced, and training eliminated.

      Was a decent place to work until new CIO starting cutting costs via RIFs and offshore outsourcing last year.

      Little to no overtime required

      Cons

      incompetent managers management were only concerned with keeping their jobs and not taking care of their people upper management shared very little information about major changes with employees raises were not very good too much management, not enough workers

      Pros

      Flexible work schedule, paychecks don't bounce.... Some really nice people to work with for the most part.

      Cons

      Worse corporate culture I have ever experienced. Thought new owners would clean house, but parent company indecision has made the culture even worse here in the last year. Engineering is the only organization not completely broken, but if you're an software engineer looking to work on interesting projects...don't look here. Company bills itself as a SaaS/Cloud provider, but the product is going nowhere. Its more of a custom software hosting shop for one big customer and a handful of customers running on old broken code that is constantly breaking.
