Upper management has no background in software development or management. Upper management's focus is on the bottom dollar and not on what it takes to get there including valuing experienced staff with experience in SDLC processes.

As a small company the atmosphere is very congenial and friendly. There is great camaraderie and anyone in the company is in a position to make a difference.

Cons

As a small company the opportunities for growth can be limited. However, when opportunities are available the company supports internal promotion and growth.
