Pros

good amount of work, good company for beginners, cant really think of any other pros.

Cons

I worked for the global options company before the merge to coventbridge. I liked working for globaloptions even if they were bordering low pay and mileage reimbursement. After the merge the company started nickel and diming everything. The program they use isnt user friendly and very tedious. There are way too many supervisors. This job might be good for a investigator trying to get their foot in the door but at the pay rate seasoned investigators will not stand for it.

Pros

ICS and GlobalOptions have merged this should benefit the field investigators ? Global's report system is the best in the industry. Global's investigative team is thought to be the most professional, experienced and dedicated individuals that have migrated from the other investigative ventures to the benefit of Global Options not needing a sales team because the work product was excellent.

Cons

Before the merger I was with Global for over four years. No cost of living increase. Now In addition to no pay increase, four paid holidays have been taken away which means my yearly income is now cut. Here lately have been putting in a lot of hours but most of them are paid at minimum wage as travel time, report time and upload video time. Having to work 8 to ? day's in a row with maybe one day off and that day is used to prepare for up coming case's. Serious investigator burnout is on the horizon which results in client case work dissatisfaction. The investigative pool to choose from has dwindled due to Investigator state training and educational requirements not to mention new generation work ethic. The tide has turned making your present day investigators the company's most valuable commodity.

Pros

They provide you a gas card

Cons

This company is poorly managed with micro management predominant. Investigators are not treated with respect. Managers change frequently with each manager having his/her own report writing requirements. Much frustration for investigators due to poor pay for report writing time-minimum wage! Investigators are paid minimum wage for travel time. You may spend 4 hours in your car just driving to and from an assignment. you get paid for 3 of those hours at minimum wage. Management stresses that reports must be submitted ASAP, but are only willing to pay minimum wage for report time.
