Pros

Relaxed atmosphere at work. Everyone is super friendly. Most days I look forward to going into work. While we are always busy and have a challenging full day, rarely are unreasonable results expected. (If you worked for the old GlobalOptions company, prior to the merge, this was no always the case.) Some of the small perks that make it nice are the unlimited free Starbucks in the break room, monthly birthday cake, Pop Corn Fridays. Plus, the Activities Committee always has something fun going on and there are occasional Department Outings .

Cons

The merger a year ago between GlobalOptions and ICS Merrill started out very rough. The merging of two incompatible internal systems brought about challenges that are still being worked out.

Pros

Opportunity to combat fraud Faith in Senior management and direction company is headed Great industry to have a career in Family like atmosphere Opportunities for growth and advancement Strong telecommute program Competitive pay and compensation plan Excellent benefits Bonus Program Educational Assistance Cutting edge technology Focused Sales Force I began my career as a field investigator which I loved. Was it easy? No. There were many challenges, successes and failures. But nothing compares to providing a professional investigation to a client who is extremely grateful for your efforts. I excelled at being a field investigator and was given an opportunity to advance into Case Management for the Surveillance Division. I spent 3 years as a CM before I was given an opportunity to become a Regional Recruiter where I spent the next 2 years being responsible for bringing in new talent to the company which is where I found my true calling. I was also given an opportunity to assist in our Training program where I instructed new employees on our Case Assignment System. Business needs sometimes change and I was presented with another challenge in my career and was asked to return to the field as an investigator. I met this challenge head on. A short time later, I was given an opportunity to return to Case Management, this time for the Claims Division in charge of a team of investigators responsible for complex claims assignments. I spent 1.5 years in this role before I returned to my current position as a Regional Recruiter. ICS Merrill, now CoventBridge Group has for the past 11 years provided me with multiple opportunities to excel and grow in a career I love. It has provided for my family and continues to do so. I consider my time with this company and the people I work with a blessing.

Cons

Being an hourly position and not a salaried can be a concern for some but that just means there's also an opportunity for overtime.
