Pros

None. The place is a mill for mediocrity and there's no room for growth either. You're better off working at a fast food joint than this despicable company

Cons

Place is a total joke and disaster. Low pay and substandard benefits. Management at all levels is terrible and case managers are incompetent clowns.

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere at work. Everyone is super friendly. Most days I look forward to going into work. While we are always busy and have a challenging full day, rarely are unreasonable results expected. (If you worked for the old GlobalOptions company, prior to the merge, this was no always the case.) Some of the small perks that make it nice are the unlimited free Starbucks in the break room, monthly birthday cake, Pop Corn Fridays. Plus, the Activities Committee always has something fun going on and there are occasional Department Outings .

Cons

The merger a year ago between GlobalOptions and ICS Merrill started out very rough. The merging of two incompatible internal systems brought about challenges that are still being worked out.

Pros

Work Independently without having anyone disturb you.

Cons

Lack of pay - not being honest from the start in how much is paid in report time and driving time - could not afford to pay bills. Last minute surveillance notice is ridiculous - no family life at all. Having to contact the customer regarding findings during the surveillance. This activity is the responsibility of the case manager, and if one thing is said that is not what the company wants the customer to know, then it is the investigator's fault.
