Decent pay and benefits. Good work for the right personality. If you get the right manager, it can be a comfortable fit.

Cons

Very little flexibility on when or how to do your job. Work parameters are set by the highest levels. Those in the field are very isolated from the rest of the company. The work schedule can be all over the place, but that is the norm for this industry.
