Pros

There is plenty of work for someone who wants and is willing to work. I have been with the company for almost five years. The CEO Dave Merrill is very open to speaking with his employees and does care about the investigators and their success. Mr. Merrill has surrounded himself with a great management team since the merger. Middle management does a great job helping new investigators and it seems that there is an open door policy all the way to the top if needed. I would highly recommend this company to other investigators.

Cons

There are some long hours with the traveling but knowing your making a difference it's worth it.

Pros

Not much...except I met the coolest fellow editors there. It also looks good on the resume, better than what the job actually entails. Oh, and you can dress casual which is nice.

Cons

The amount of overtime done in this department is ridiculous, there's no regard for your sanity. Plan on working between 6-10 hours of OT every week, oh and don't forget having to come work the occasional Saturday. The manager constantly micromanages, tries to control his employees, and keeps tabs on their whereabouts. Social interaction is forbidden along with any positivity. As an employee, you're constantly reminded that you are not important and completely replaceable. There are no raises or incentives, which leads to a high turnover rate. Doesn't help that the environment is stifling and bland.

Pros

Plenty of work is available and if you like to travel within you license area, it is the job for you.

Cons

Upper management is absent and mid-managers are (apparently) over-whelmed with processes and paperwork. For a complete of this size, the provided online assistance and technical support is lacking. The forms library is a complete joke and the software is definitely not "investigator friendly." If you absolutely love surveillance and only surveillance, this is the job for you. The company is very top heavy with management.
