Pros

You get to work on some high profile projects within the auto industry. Amazing benefits Mature UX Organization AI forward company

Cons

Constant turn over, reorganizations and a planned rolling layoff program set to last for 5 years total. Limited ability for upward mobility. Very rare to get a promotion. They will lay you off if you make more money than others with your title. It’s not performance based it’s salary based and they will lay off entire departments after receiving praise, they will ask you to reapply and interview to work there again where you have to beat out everyone who just got laid off for limited positions.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and for being part of our workforce for 3 years. Candid reviews like yours helps us continually evolve the workplace experience, and our leaders value the feedback they receive from reviews like yours. First, it's great to know that you love working on high-profile, big-impact projects with an innovative UX team, and that you appreciate the employee benefits you get at Cox. Regarding your concerns about upward mobility, we recommend that you have an open and honest conversation with your manager — a nd perhaps a trusted mentor at Cox — to share your concerns. We also recommend that you ask your manager about professional development resources at Cox (courses, certification, stretch assignments, etc) that may help you prepare for the next level. Cox offers ample opportunities to move up and around our family of businesses; and when you're ready to accelerate your career path your leaders are here to support and help you take charge of your learning and growth. We understand that organizational changes and transformations can feel overwhelming. Decisions regarding org changes are only made after much forethought, planning and strategic deliberation about the best path for our employees, future business success and our customers. Again, we hope you'll take the time to share your concerns with your manager and/or mentor so they can provide transparency and support. Thank you for all you do at Cox, and for making your mark here!

Pros

* Decent work life balance

Cons

* RTO * Low pay * Decreasing job security which makes the low pay not worth it * Increasing pressure from upper management * Constant layoffs * Corporate politics * Shockingly minimal growth opportunity for such a large company * Replacing FTE employees with offshore workers (20+) * The "we care about our employees and the community" is 100% just a marketing strategy
