Pros

Cox Automotive is doing such exciting work in the automotive business. We are truly transforming the way the world buys sells and owns cars. I love that we are privately held which means we aren't answering to shareholders every 90 days. This lets us make decisions that may not pay off immediately, but are the right thing to do. It is a 4th generation family company and all 34,000 team members feel like family. When I was applying for the job 10 years ago, I ran across a couple who both worked for different Cox Companies. They told me that they had no plans of ever leaving Cox. I'm so glad I met them. I sure did make the right decision.

Cons

We are going from a house of brands to a branded house. There is a lot of movement in the company as we simplify how we go to market. This leads to some change exhaustion, but I do see the future getting clearer and clearer.

-Room to Grow -Employee development is emphasized -Communication has improved greatly since the acquisition -Diversity and Inclusion on the Enterprise level is demonstrated through the Fuel platform and by simply looking at our leaders -Ethical behavior is strongly encouraged and there is an ethics hotline -Everyone in the organization is considered valuable and capable of creating solutions to industry challenges -The communicated culture is Utopian! -Definite progress toward combining all products into a streamlined solution for clients -Amazing support of team members - can't say it enough!

Cons

-As with any acquisition, culture adoption may take a while to trickle through all solutions -Despite the overall organization encouraging diversity and inclusion, some leadership does not embrace it and there are still instances of exclusion based on race or sex -Need more opportunities to network with other solution groups
