Pros

Very focused on grooming employees to promote them, employees are all treated fairly. They provided a lot of educational opportunities for the several years I was there, pertaining to my job at the time.

Cons

There is little to no consideration for folks that have been employed for several years when it comes to layoffs. The higher the salary you have, the more likely you will be the one laid off if you are competing with another system team member during the merges. Beware of working at Cox if you want any sort of long term job, layoffs have been going on for years as they seem to be condensing into 1 small system.

Pros

1. State of the art workout facility 2. Job Stability 3. Competitive Pay/Benefits (with Bonuses) 4. Variety of options for seeking internal employment opportunities. With the various divisions, you can change jobs without having to leave the company and losing tenure.

Cons

1. Promotions given out based on who you know. 2. Easy to become stagnant if you aren't proactive in taking control of the advancement of your career. 3. Lots of politics. Upper management has their own agenda without giving clear strategy to the team. They may as well run the company on their own. Lack of clarity and prioritization. 4. Very immature with effectively employing project management processes. PMs are more like project coordinators. Attempting to improve with new EPM and Assured Frameworks. 5. Work-from-Home options are hit or miss.

Pros

While you are needed, they have great benefits and a good salary or commission structure.

Cons

They are not the least bit committed to their employees, they will slash staff at a whim to save a buck.
